Get in quick for scholarship to IRRI

May 22, 2017

Do you like getting down and dirty when you are learning? Are you enrolled in a PhD degree in an agriculture related subject and study in the ACT or NSW?

Then you could be eligible for the post-graduate scholarships that are being offered by our NSW and ACT committees of the Crawford Fund to attend the “Rice: Research to Production” short course that will be held from 14 August to 1 September 2017 at the world renowned International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in the Philippines.

But you’ll have to get in quick as the closing date is 30 May!

The scholarships cover return economy airfare from Sydney to Manila, the course cost of USD$2800, pre- and post-travel allowance, board and lodging, medical insurance, transfers and local travel and other reasonable local expenses in relation to the course.

You can find more information for the ACT scholarship here and by clicking on this link for NSW and you can read about the experience of a former scholarship awardee, David Gale, here.
