Resources and Publications
The Crawford Fund has a considerable resource ‘library’ of the materials it generates as part of its outreach, State and Territory Committee, training, public policy and corporate governance activities and requirements.
For a comprehensive introduction into what we do, and the environment in which we operate, we strongly recommend you read our latest Annual Report and Annual Conference Proceedings.
Our Strategy
Shaping Australia’s Leadership in Global Food Security
At the Crawford Fund for Food Security, our Strategy for 2025–2030 sets a clear course: to strengthen Australia’s role as a global leader in international agricultural research and development.
Our vision is a food-secure world. One where sustainable agriculture and resilient agri-food systems reduce hunger, malnutrition, and poverty—and contribute to global stability and peace.
Rooted in our core values—partnership, impact, value, and capacity—this Strategy is our blueprint for action. It champions collaboration across borders and sectors, focusing on:
- Strengthening research partnerships, both within Australia and internationally
- Building capacity, developing skilled individuals and institutions that can lead lasting change
- Elevating public awareness, celebrating agricultural innovation and its vital role in the world
The Strategy brings together our key program areas—awareness, education, advocacy, good governance, and best practice—into a unified approach. With this foundation, we are not just responding to global food challenges; we are helping to shape the solutions.
