Head of Economics, Grains Research and Development Corporation
Terence is Head of Economics at the Grain Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), where his responsibilities include international demand forecasting, investment analysis and impact assessment. He holds degrees in agricultural economics from universities in Australia, Canada and the United States. Prior to joining GRDC, he worked with Grain Growers Ltd, taught agricultural economics at the University of New England, and worked in the NSW Department of Primary Industries. He has also consulted to various research organisations in Australia and overseas. GRDC invests in research, development and extension (RD&E) to create enduring profitability for Australian grain growers. Science and new innovations developed in Australia can help producers and consumers in other countries work toward a common aim of increasing the world’s food supply to meeting increasing demand.
