Ms Jennifer Kelly

Senior Innovation Systems Broker, CSIRO Agriculture and Food Sustainability Research Program

Jennifer is an accredited Partnership Broker with expertise in innovation systems, capacity building and program planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning She designs and experiment swith different agriculture innovation processes and practices for enhanced impact.

In her role at CSIRO, Jennifer has facilitated and enabled multi-stakeholder collaborations that explore how agri-food systems innovation research and practice can work together to accelerate and scale the impact of agricultural research in Australia, Southeast Asia, the Pacific and East Africa.

Jennifer currently leads the Pacific Agri-food Futures initiative and the Aus4Innovation Resilient Agriculture and Food projects in Viet Nam. These projects co-design interventions that build the resilience of agri-food systems to respond to emerging and ongoing shocks and disruptions such as Climate Change, NCDs, and market shocks. Her previous projects have explored agribusiness-led innovation, transformational innovation in agri-food systems, and the adoption of knowledge and technology in both Australia and developing countries.

Prior to CSIRO, she held positions in Local Governments in Australia, United Nations Women in Timor Leste and the Australian Government collaborative partnership titled Food Systems Innovation.
