Daniel Walker

Daniel Walker is Research Director for ‘Agriculture and Global Change’ in CSIRO Agriculture. ‘Agriculture and Global Change’ includes CSIRO Agriculture’s international ‘research for development’ activity internationally and research in greenhouse gas mitigation, climate adaptation and innovation systems domestically and internationally.

Daniel was previously Chief of Division for CSIRO Ecosystems Science. He joined CSIRO in Townsville in 1994 and his research since has focussed on systems-oriented integration of environmental, economic and social dimensions of sustainable production in agricultural, forestry and rangelands landscapes in Australia and in a number of developing countries.
